What You’re Paying For

All medical alarm prices include:

• the lease of the equipment including GST
• free installation for residential customers
•  24/7 monitoring
• unlimited free ambulances if the pendant is activated in an emergency for residential customers
• servicing for residential customers
• battery replacement
• replacement of faulty equipment including courier and technician fees.

Whew! That’s a lot. We invoice fortnightly, so all medical alarm prices listed are per fortnight. Scroll down to the alarm system you’d like to know more about.

In-Home Medical Alarm (PERS+)

PERS medical alarm price (self funded) is $35 per fortnight 

Peace of mind with passive and active alerting features.

Our Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) consists of a pendant and a control panel that has 24/7 monitoring and emergency response.

The PERS system can be added onto with other products like the Fall Detector Pendant, Smoke & Flood Detectors , as well as extra pendants for anyone that lives in the same house. This is where the + comes from. All of our products are monitored 24/7, this is included in the lease of the product.

We like to say that our medical alarms “start where others finish”.

Funding may be available for the PERS medical alarm & pendant. Anything else you add to this system  you will have to pay for yourself as it’s not covered by MSD funding.

Family

Family medical alarm price is $60 leased per fortnight incl GST

Enables family/whānau to proactively care for loved ones.

SECURELY^®‘s Family steps up active care. Using passive activity monitoring Family connects with family/whānau using text messages based on agreed and pre-defined daily activities, for example:

• Sending an awake and well message when users rise in the morning; or
• Alerting family is a door stays open too long or is opened at an unexpected hour

Just right when there’s one or more than one person living at home. It provides an advanced system that provides real time updates about health and safety of loved ones to family, every day. Neck or wrist medical alarm pendants occur an additional cost.

PRO

PRO medical alarm price is $98 leased per fortnight incl GST

Seamless monitoring and alerts to changes in routine.

SECURELY^®‘s PRO is next level and delivers a state of the art, professional, intelligent home care monitoring solution. This analytics-based home activity monitoring platform represents a paradigm shift in care and monitors users’ day to day and highlights any changes in routine that may signal a deterioration in health or potential event, such as a fall.

SECURELY^® PRO is relevant for a person with health issues who wants to live as independently as possible by enabling timely intervention if a senior or disabled person’s health and habits change.

Neck or wrist medical alarm pendants occur an additional cost.

Fall Detector Pendant

Fall Detector Pendant costs an additional $15.00 incl GST per fortnight on top of your medical alarm cost.

The Fall Detector Pendant automatically detects a fall and sends an alert to SECURELY^®‘s 24/7 Monitoring Centre.

It detects a change in acceleration brought about by a fall. Some epileptic seizures have a jerking motion that can also activate the Fall Detector Pendant.

The Fall Detector Pendant also has a push button alarm which you activate if you are able to.

The battery life of a Fall Detector Pendant is up to 2 years. If your battery runs low an alert is sent to our Monitoring Centre. We will at no charge send a replacement pendant out to you.
